Uplowman Primary School in Devon were blessed with full sunshine as they joined the DrumCrazy team in the playground on December 13th.  56 children of all ages were quickly engaged in playing boomwhackers together, culminating in a game where everyone played a rhythm on the tubes and then swapped with someone holding a different colour.  Gradually moving into the hall where the orchestra was set up we all started playing together.  A small group of very young ones filtered off into the room next door when the sound became too much. This way they could still join in.  We swapped instruments so everyone got to play a drum.
Teachers and helpers came in and out of the session and they also managed to have their own shared christmas lunch too while it was going on.  What a feat!!!!!!!!  And what energy!!!!!
